NORTH MELBOURNE, BYRON STREET
The challenge: Incorporate recycled materials to create a semi-industrial look in this North Melbourne converted warehouse.
The original bathroom in this North Melbourne converted warehouse didn’t quite look like it suited the semi-industrial aesthetic of the rest of the property. Chunky white Corian surrounds a recycled vanity, paired with a hand-formed, organic shaped shallow basin. Topped with a large mirror, framed with the same recycled oak, the Milli Axon tap ware completes the theme. The Corian shower is enclosed by a Bubbles Bathrooms’ signature, frameless shower screen reducing the visual impact of the glass, and the heated towel ladder is Smart Phone smart clicking on ahead of time with the press of a button. Underfloor heating imparts warmth to the toes and to the heart as cleaning time is cut in half — no lingering moisture, no mold!
Best features: Clean lines, clever design to compliment the rest of the home.
